Make This Thanksgiving Unforgettable

Be transported into a festive paradise this Thanksgiving by booking the Family Weekend Wonderland Package. This three-day escape includes activities the whole family will love! Enjoy Thanksgiving activities including gingerbread house decorating, a one-of-a-kind Brunch with Santa, and party it up with all the elves at the annual tree lighting ceremony. Warm up ocean side with a cozy beach fire and swing into the action with some adventure mini golf; it's all included in this perfect holiday getaway.


Turkey Trot 5K, Thursday, November 28: Enjoy a scenic run with other “trotters” as you meander through the beautiful tree-canopied resort at Omni Amelia Island. This chip-timed run will start and finish at Racquet Park. Registration is $35 for adults, $20 for children with proceeds supporting the McArthur Family YMCA. Day of registration opens at 6:30 a.m. and the race begins at 8 a.m. Open to the public. Learn more.

Turkey Dinner for Every Diner, Thursday, November 28: This Thanksgiving, take a vacation from the kitchen and let us do the cooking. Order a Thanksgiving To-Go Dinner from Marché Burette complete with a fully-cooked 12-pound turkey, three sides, dessert and a bottle of wine. Or if you choose to skip the dishes, make a reservation at one of our fabulous restaurants with offerings that include:

  • Holiday Buffet from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Sunrise Café (open to the public)

  • Honey Baked Ham from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Marsh View (guests and club members only)

  • Four-Course Dinner from noon to 8 p.m. at Veranda (open to the public)

  • Prime Rib Dinner from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Oceanside (open to the public)

  • Turkey Sandwich from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Falcons Nest (open to the public)

Family Festivities, Oceanview Room, Thursday, November 28

Following your Thanksgiving dinner, put on your pajamas and join us for a fun night of festivities! Enjoy gingerbread house building, hot cocoa, yard games, Christmas song Pictionary, bingo and more! We will also be showing the movie, Elf! Gingerbread building is $25/family. All other activities are complimentary. Open from 6 to 8 p.m. Registered resort guests only.

Holiday Lights Celebration, Friday, November 29: Kick off the holiday season at our annual tree lighting ceremony, Friday, November 29, 5 to 8 p.m. Join us for festive culinary creations, holiday crafts, elf training, inflatable fun, stilt walkers, s’mores and more! Help us welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus by sharing your holiday wishes in our cozy coastal wonderland. Prices vary for food and beverage. Activity wristbands will be available for purchase for $20. Silent auction proceeds will benefit the Barnabas Center through Omni Hotels & Resorts’ Say Goodnight to Hunger initiative. Free admission and open to the public. Learn more.

Brunch with Santa, Saturday, November 30: Join Santa and his Omni elves for a traditional North Pole breakfast 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Verandah and stay for the fun! Brunch tickets include access to additional activities at Racquet Park conference center which include reindeer games, cookie decorating, crafts, bounce houses, train rides, a complimentary photo with Santa and more. Brunch tickets are $30 for children ages 5 to 12, $50 for adults (ages 13 +), children 4 and under are free. Tickets can be purchased here. Located at Racquet Park at Amelia Island Plantation. Open to the public.

Holiday Pop-Up Cookie Shop, Saturday, November 30: Treat yourself and give back to those in need as area pastry chefs bring their holiday cookies to Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort for this unique pop-up cookie shop. Cookies available for purchase include orange ginger, pumpkin whoopie pies, holiday macarons, apple oatmeal pies, marshmallow doodles, chocolate peppermint crinkles and more. All proceeds from cookie sales will benefit Feeding America Northeast Florida through Omni Hotels & Resorts’ Say Goodnight to Hunger initiative. Open 10 a.m. – 1 p.m., located in The Shops of Omni Amelia Island Plantation (inside the shop located next to the Plantation Artists’ Guild and Gallery).
