Meet the New Golf Pros!
Jay Taylor, PGM First Assistant Golf Professional
Jay Taylor grew up in Monroe, Georgia before moving to the area to attend Jacksonville University where he graduated with a degree in History, and he is currently finishing up his PGA requirements. Before joining the Omni family, Jay worked as the First Assistant at The Amelia Island Club and Deercreek Country Club. Jay has a passion for coaching all levels and ages of golfers, striving to improve their golf game while keeping it fun. When Jay is not working, he enjoys working on his own golf game, fishing the waters of Amelia Island, and spending time with his family.
Assistant Golf Professional
Michael Dudzinski has been a proud associate at Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort for four years. Shortly after he started working at the resort he was promoted to Outside Supervisor and quickly excelled at his position. He has recently passed his PGA playing ability test and has enrolled in the PGA PGM apprenticeship program. He will continue to be a key player in growing the golf program at Oak Marsh. When Michael is not working, he is spending time with family or staying active.
Our golf clinics are offered Monday through Thursday at 9 a.m. and focus on a specific stroke or club, developing the technical components of one's shots. Pre-register for the clinics or set up private, group or junior golf lessons from our team here.
